This week at Sunrise the former Future Shop store is having major work done inside, a skid steer was taking loads of gravel inside through a temporary shelter outside the old install bay doors. There was a large number of trades parked out front as well.

While it's majority owned by an American investment firm, HBC is still headquartered in Canada and traded on the TSX. That qualifies it as Canadian in my books.

Probably because HBC has a far more storied history than Lord and Taylor. Remains to be seen what will happen now that Saks is under their umbrella.
I wonder if the Rona in Cambridge will stay open. With a Lowe's across the street it doesn't strike me as an arrangement that can last. Look at Best Buy and Future Shop.
