UofW students could probably put together a solar-powered version.

I guess Bombardier needed more time to prepare their next set of excuses?

Wouldn't it be refreshing if they actually spoke the truth. Look people. We are way behind for a multitude of reasons but we are committed to giving you an amazing product. Here is what we think our real number timeliness are. I know it is far out but this is what reasonably believe we can meet. End of story. That would be much better.

How about the tar and feathers? Can we get those out now, or do we really need to wait until we have some facts?

At this point, Bombardier doesn't deserve that courtesy.

It might be a bit cold for tar and feathers, the tar will harden before the feathers can stick.....
How about an old fashioned booing and public humiliation...

Maybe we should save that until the trains, when finally delivered, turn out to be second rate..... (I know, born optimist!)

During the Regional budget discussions, Tom Galloway said that the Region won't commit any funds for Phase 2 until the federal and provincial governments commit to it first. ( As reported by the Record on Saturday) Can anyone recall the time frame between when the federal and provincial governments kicked in for Phase 1 and when the Region added Phase 1 to the 10-year Regional budget? For instance, if the senior governments kicked in their share of Phase 2 tomorrow, I assume that the Region wouldn't have to wait until 2026 before it could be added to the 10-year budget.

Wouldn't want to be on top of the lift installing the pulleys and threading the cable, mainly due to the wind out there this afternoon.
