I did not say they were the same as the GRT passenger information display signs, I said they were similar. The GRT ones are from INIT innovations in transportations Inc. The one at willis is from daktronics.
Everyone move to the back of the bus and we all get home faster.

I thought you were indicating they were the same as the GRT ones; and I was simply trying to point out that they are quite different. Still not getting the message: Creative:

Man do I hate it when people park on the sidewalk!

Thanks for the neat read! But even two wheels (half of a load many times what a sidewalk is supposed to bear) is annoying to me. I can't help but see prematurely crumbling sidewalks when I see someone who has done that.

Off-topic, but does that mean some work being done at the former Firkin?

They're parked on a grass strip between the sidewalk and the building. "Parking" initially referred to small areas of grass and trees that were next to roads. When cars came around, people started putting their cars in the "parking". Soon, the term "parking" would refer to "a place to put your car" instead of "a small roadside strip of park" The vans are clearly in the "parking"!

No, Abe Erb is at the northwest corner of the parking lot, bordering the victoria portion of the building. Firkin was at the southeast corner of the Tannery parking lot, bordering the Joseph portion of the building. I would hazard a guess that those vehicles might be to load up some of the seized-for-non-payment-of-rent items?

I'm assuming then that the term predates the existence of sidewalks, negating the question as to whether parking only counts on the boulevard side. Did anyone call in a complaint on those vehicles by the way?

Looks like Phase 2 has a 'preliminary preferred route' now, and it will be discussed at public meetings Feb 15-23. Not sure when we get to find out which route is preferred.

That's great news! Looking forward to seeing which one they decided on.
1/1 - Friday, January 13, 2017 Bit of a weird day for me, so I got to see some construction during a weekday. Here are a couple of shots of the guys working on connecting the newly-strung contact wire to the droppers that suspend it from the messenger wire, on Caroline.
