It has the Diamond "Reserved" symbol in it, but I suppose white paint in a turn lane is enough for most people to assume it's a turn arrow.
I really think the lane needs to be painted a different, solid colour - but, I don't think we have a single instance of that anywhere else in the Region, so there is no standard.

Not sure about this, but what about the bus-only left turn into Highland Hills transit terminal? I have a vague recollection that it might be painted red or green.
Of course that is another example of one of my gripes about Erb/Caroline, which is that the left turn gets a green even if there is no bus there. Let the misguided car driver stew at a red forever, I say!

No, it just says BUS LANE.

They could follow the Sportsworld model and have a separate left turn signal that never turns green.

Not that people don't use the bus lane anyway.

I get a good chuckle every time I see a non-bus waiting for the light to change at Sportsworld.

New poles on Jubilee Dr, in Victoria Park. Are they putting in signals for the trail crossing?

I'm surprised the VPNA allowed those to infringe upon the character of the park; they almost stick out as much as a road through a park.
So once these signals are up and running, and I am running through the park and there is no one coming along Jubilee, I am legally required to push the button and wait, correct?
Everyone move to the back of the bus and we all get home faster.

I’ve always wondered this. It seems like that would be the case...
I struggle a little with my conscious at the Laurel Trail crossing at Erb. If there’s no one there, and I push the button, I have to wait... the I get the green and go, and then cars eventually come, I’m long gone and now they have to wait, but can probably see me riding off and start fuming, which doesn’t help anyone.
If I just go against the red “don’t cross” signal, nobody’s delayed at all, people drive through, happy as can be.
Same at Spur Line Trail/Weber, and Laurel Trail/University.

These will be a level two crossing. I'm not sure if there is a button but there is no waiting. It's not a signal.

That’s why it should be green for the trail at all those locations exception when vehicular traffic triggers it. Two triggers: one right before the signal to ensure that vehicles never get trapped, and another further back, integrated with other signals where appropriate, so that in many scenarios the light goes green just before traffic reaches it. Best of both worlds.

I don't know what a Level 2 crossing is, but will it be like the crossing behind Fairview Park Mall where the pedestrian gets instant yellow strobe lights?

I think this is what an L2 crossing looks like:
