Also a very large sign facing the hwy showing a very nice rendering of the project. If this is possibly some kind of fraud or set up like being alluded to in this thread, they have spent a lot of money to make money.

I hope I'm proved wrong about this one

I dont think it's a fraud. I drove by yesterday and in addition to the highway sign theres a sales house (dont know if that was already mentioned) and a ton of equipment on sit .

It's in a area primed for a development like this, close to LRT a mall that will be completely revamped and movies, dining and all other sorts of entertainment are nearby. It's an excellent project for the area and to me it seems like its absolutely going to happen.

Having doubts about a developer's experience or capacity to undertake a project is not an allusion to "some kind of fraud".   Information confirming the developers experience and capacity would be more than welcome.

It's an interesting and pretty bold development. Would def mark the start of major revitalization of this part of the city. Much needed and welcome.

Tennis court between the two buildings there looks fantastic in renderings.

Ya for me it's just a big project to jump into for an inexperienced developer

One would certainly hope so.

I always imagined trying to develop something large, but I think a lot of capital is needed first. Hopefully this dude isn't a scammer.

I was just addressing what was mentioned or alluded to previously....

Any sense of when pre-sales might begin?

Not sure if anyone posted this already or not, but it looks like this is going to council shortly. https://lf.kitchener.ca/WebLinkExt/0/doc...1593374355

Shouldn't this thread be in Suburbs rather than Downtowns?

Yep this isn't DTK. I've already seen the emails from (GTA) realtors literally calling this a downtown project and naming off all the usual DTK business suspects. Should also write 15 min walk to nearest LRT station.

It's in an urban area but really neither downtown or in the suburbs. I'll let Spokes make a decision on whether it should be moved.

We've had this discussion in years past, no? I though anything beyond the expressway was to be considered "Suburban".
