Why Denmark isn't having a Covid disaster after pandemic restrictions are lifted: https://inews.co.uk/news/science/why-den...ns-1478566

Important to look at this data in the right way. Everyone is pointing to Denmark to suggest removing restrictions is terrible and we should all die alone wearing cheap facemasks because everyone is terrified of this despite nearly everyone being vaccinated, but the reality is much different in nations where they have removed such rules. Tl;dr...it isn't as bad as expected, even though public health officials here act like eating in restaurants and not wearing a mask means we'll be facing an extinction level event.

Everyone? Dying? Cheap facemasks?

Fewer people are dying of Omicron (the columnist really only talks about deaths) but the reality is that Denmark has twice as many people hospitalized with COVID as they had a month ago, and still going up. And twice as many as Sweden or Canada, both of which are showing steady declines in hospitalization.

Sorry for the missed days. We've been in and out of the hospital for my son; he continues to have issues related to his last vaccination (Moderna). Thank God Moderna isn't given to people his age anymore, what a horrible vaccine it is.

Sorry about your mom! That's horrible. For myself, I wish AZ had still been available. I had minimal problems with it, but after my mRNA vaccines, I have bad tinnitus. I did research on it, and it is a side effect. No telling how long it will last, but it's been since June 2021. Now taking your kid to the hospital multiple times is an issue. Not sure if his life will get back to normal. Really, with low risk individuals, and with the government no longer able to peddle lies regarding spread of vaccinated people, I truly believe that people under 30 should not have been forced to take it. And yeah, my kid had to take it for his job, so in that way, it is forced.

The first hospital visit back in October was really bad though, as he almost died. Very scary.

Dang, is tinnitus really a side effect of the mRNA based vaccines? That's unfortunate. How common is that?

I've lived with tinnitus for most of my life (unrelated to vaccines, obviously) and it is super annoying, though thankfully I got used to it and don't notice it unless I specifically attempt to be lucid of the fact I have it...then I hear the ringing.

Hopefully it goes away for you. Thankfully it does dissipate in some people. I think it really depends on what the cause is. Mine was a result of someone shooting a gun at me beside my head, then a lifetime of loud music since I'm a musician haha, so it's permanent. I wonder how an mRNA vaccine would cause that and if it would dissipate given some time.

It's not a common side effect. Though perhaps it's hit more people than reported. I only realized that it was a side effect when I saw a medical article on it -- otherwise I would have thought it was caused from something else.
