Waterloo Region reported 13 new cases for today (9.9% of the active cases) and three fewer for yesterday for eight; 91 new cases for the week (+0 from yesterday and -60 from last week), averaging 8.6% of active cases. 119 active cases, -55 in the last seven days.
An average of 676 tests/day for the past seven days for a positivity rate of 1.92%, the lowest since March, and that was with 3x the number of tests.
4,529 doses of vaccine administered, with a seven-day average at 12,683 (previous week was 14,550). 66.94% of total regional population vaccinated (+0.10% since yesterday, +0.69% from 7 days ago), 54.11% fully vaccinated (+64% since yesterday, +5.05% from 7 days ago).
Ontario reported 129 new cases today with a seven-day average of 157 (+0), compared to 152 a week ago. 158 recoveries and five deaths translated to a decrease of 34 active cases and a new total of 1,395. +41 active cases for the week and 25 deaths (four per day). 13,644 tests with a positivity rate of 0.95%.
