Heh, every time I'm in Chicago (having driven there), I always make sure I go up to the O'Hare specifically to take a ride on their VAL 256

Fun fact: About half of their trains came from Jacksonville, which also ran VAL 256... then they ripped it out, and replaced it with a Universal Mobility (now Bombardier) Monorail, and ORD bought the surplus trains.
