I live very near to the Chen's Buffet as well, so will also give it a try. Will wait for it to be open a bit though. 
I'm glad to see a restaurant move in there, but was really hoping for a sports bar or pub-like place. Something within easy walking distance with a relatively decent selection of beers, and maybe... good suicide wings.
