The buildings have all been demolished and a tower crane base has been installed.

Things are well underway here:

A second crane was being erected on site today.

Is this going up in phases, or all at once?

This is the highest number of cranes I have seen on a local project. I guess they mean business.

I'm glad this is finally starting. However, I'm still disappointed in the updated designs. It looks like a hospital now, where the original renders would have added an incredibly unique, neo-modern architectural project to the cities.

I agree the initial design was far better in my opinion

The forest of cranes have been reduced to a singe one.
There's quite the progress on this, and it's looking rather good, all things considered. Student move-ins delayed again, this time for TheHub in Waterloo
Quote:Residents of ICON, Columbia One and the K2 buildings all experienced move-in delays, and now so will tenants scheduled to move on Sept. 3 into Towers 7, 8 and 9 at TheHub on 130 Columbia St. I've made a thread to talk about (more generically) the problem of missed September occupancy targets: http://www.waterlooregionconnected.com/s...&pid=41324

Does anyone have any updated "finished" pictures of this?
