ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit

Sick days, 12 stat days (or 13, depending on the year), and pension makes up for the lower pay rates. Not to mention good health benefits. I am pretty sure that the train operators get all that except a good defined pension, which is impossible to get these days.

Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to drive the red rocket or subway. Never expected K-Town to get a hybrid of such, but here we are. If I was younger and/or without OMERS, I would have applied. Wouldn't have meant that I would have gotten it, but my friend is seriously pumped about 'driving the train'. He just started last week, or the week before.
