ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit
(04-29-2019, 10:47 AM)KevinT Wrote: Edit to add:  The signal heads for the Cameron crossover were still bagged when I drove by late last week, and that's not a good sign either.  Last week's CTV piece from the ION show and tell at GRH said "Still, some of the vehicles are taking longer", repeating the tired refrain of "it's all Bombardier's fault".  I'm getting sick and tired of the region using Bombardier as their catch-all scapegoat, the hardworking men and women in Kingston deserve better.

Yes, I think it’s safe to say that Bombardier’s part in the delay is all in the past. We’ve had all the vehicles for 4 months, and some of them for over a year. When was that pull-through test?

Have we heard anything more about preliminary or final acceptance? The first and last vehicles to achieve each should be trumpeted from the mountaintops, and the information should be available about all the vehicles to those who are interested. But no — cone of silence, instead.
