There is a lot of activity going on here now. A lot of equipment.t and workers on site. Shoring has made a lot of progress and the site seems to be mostly included with hoarding now

Miracle...the site is being worked on! Now just 4 to 5 years before first residents move in.

I'm hoping it'll still be buildings A/B/C (I think all are 8F mid-rise residential) that are going up first. That would address the vacant lot view from Courtland Ave--and an 8F building will go up substantially faster than the high-rise towers that will be built closer to the railroad tracks.

The only permits Auburn has applied for are for the 3 midrises along Courtland, so it'll be building A/B/C going up first, then the plan is to go over to Stirling and work across the back to Borden, then do the other two midrises near Stirling. When I last looked at the permits they didn't even have the shoring permit issued but they were working on the shoring, they also have the foundation and balance of construction for buildings A/B/C applied for. Auburn should also be getting a site servicing permit to put the new road network in, this one isn't even applied for yet.

I noticed a bunch of crane segments parked nearby this site. Not sure how long they've been the or if they're intended for this project and the hole isn't that deep yet, but maybe they'll be putting it up soon? Not sure if Auburn owns their own or not.

Auburn has had crane pieces on site for months, if I'm recalling correctly when they finished their most recent Barrel Yards building they brought all the pieces here, so its probably that Auburn owns them. The shoring permit was revised this past week to include raft slabs and underground plumbing while they work through the rest of the permits so it's presumably a crane will go up soon, its really up to how Auburn wants to approach the construction. Regardless the hole for the underground parking is deep enough that you can see it from the top of McLennan Park.

Possibly yeah, I vaguely recall something about storing them. They were by the warehouse next to that property. I think I've just never been paying attention.

Pictures taken Dec. 28. It is hard to take good pictures because of the hoardings. It doesn't help that they turned the sidewalk in front of the gate on Courtland into I pile of rubble, which is impossible to navigate since I currently have to use a walker. I am in no condition currently to climb up to the railroad tracks as I was doing before, to take pictures from the back.
