The idea that all politicians are equally corrupt works to the benefit of the worst, most corrupt politicians. How are the much less corrupt ones supposed to get elected if one of their main benefits is not believed? Believing that all politicians are equally corrupt is not an even-handed point of view; it is in reality a pro-corruption view.
