I'm going to push back against the suggestion that all politicians are equally corrupt. Some are empirically more corrupt than others, e.g. Doug Ford. Others are less corrupt. It is really corrosive to think that everyone is equally corrupt and that who is elected Premier doesn't matter. It really does matter. Even if no one is perfect, some are further from perfection than others.

100% agreed with this.

The idea that all politicians are equally corrupt works to the benefit of the worst, most corrupt politicians. How are the much less corrupt ones supposed to get elected if one of their main benefits is not believed? Believing that all politicians are equally corrupt is not an even-handed point of view; it is in reality a pro-corruption view.
