It has everything to do with theft too, actually. Speak to any The Beer Store employee or manager at an urban store location like this and they'll tell you people sell a lot of stuff. It's extremely easy to walk in, grab a couple cans and dip out within 30 seconds and the dude getting paid minimum wage to stand around isn't going to risk their safety to stop that. I mean there are tons of news stories you can easily search up about rampant theft at TBS and LCBO. It isn't theft alone causing these stores to close, but it is certainly a contributing factor.
