Fully disagree... we don't need more bland grey crap here. The purple and yellow in the original design were very nicely incorporated. Reminded me of something by Mexican architects Legorreta + Legorreta: modern and colourful. For some reason we are very scared of colour here, and unfortunately we don't have the best examples of colourful facades in the region.

Well it really just reflects society. Everyone drives bland coloured cars so the preference also translates to architecture and the rest of the visual space.
