Steady progress on this building. They're working on the 6th floor now.

You should resize and/or crop your pictures so that they fit better.

I edited it and did "insert into post" which fits it on the screen. KingandWeber, just one more click next time! 😊

No award winner, but not totallly gross. Brick cladding would have suited the neighbourhood better.

Agreed. It was a bit of a bait and switch because the renderings (including those sent out for community input) had red brick cladding and then we got this. It's not awful, but could have been much better.

Colour wise, I am so done with the white and black. Having said that, this is an example of a precast concrete panelled building that actually looks thought out and is not a bad form. Not sure I love the inset and protruding balconies, Would have prefered just to have inset balconies, but overall not awful. (unfortunately, not awful is the best we get in the region)

This is coming along nicely.  Not the best but good enough.  I hope that the planned development next door will move as quickly as this one.

Also I feel bad for that one house to the right of the this building (at corner of Benton and Courtland) since it will be the shadow of this building for almost the entire day.

Often owners of such houses do not want to sell to the developer of the neighbouring property. Don't know whether that was the case here, though.
