Vancouver house, the butterfly, 1075 nelson, 1500 Alberni, 1440 Alberni to name a few. All different in terms of there design. I don't think it would be a bad thing for the region to form an architectural review panel to give input into the design of our skylines. Obviously i think it would require amalgamation so there was one vision for how our cities urban form is built up. If Kitchener created a review process developers would just build in waterloo or cambridge where it would be easy to build a tower made of EIFS or other cheap looking materials.
