Sorry I even brought it up, kps.
I'm at Bombardier's Millhaven test facility. The OCS system on the MOVIA test track is complete, but no train movements or sightings today. I didn't actually expect to see one of our trains here yet, but a little part of me had hoped that I might.

They also mentioned some numbers about how much it is being spent per month, but I forgot exactly how much. Hmmm I'll let you know as soon as I hear more clarification.

The new Fairview stations seems like a bit of "sucking and blowing" on the Region's part. I would assume that Cadillac Fairview was opposed to anything the Region was proposing, including utilizing a portion of their (empty) parking lot on the western portion of their property for park'n'ride parking, but for the Region to expropriating two properties to build surface parking at a major intersection seems entirely against the entire reurbanization effort brought about by this very LRT.
This station is creeping more towards Fairview/Wilson than it is Fairview Mall, the true trip generator.

I wonder why they didn't just expropriate the parking lot from Cadillac Fairview?

I don't really spend much time in that area of town, but wouldn't Wilson be more central to both sides of the retail strip along Fairview, as well as the neighbourhood to the north?

Does this mean that the LRT Terminal at Fairway will directly connect and be within steps of the Bus Terminal?

That's right! It would have been, anyway, even before this change. The station stays where it always going to be but the bus platforms now flip to the other side.

Cadillac Fairview seems to be on a "marking their territory" binge. Every one of their malls has been renamed with "CF" in front so that even if it's called Fairview, you know who's in charge.

I had never heard of "Cadillac" before this thread.
